Chico!

We had our first family vacation for the year (that was a vacation not to see family or friends;) to Chico Hot Springs this week. It was a blast and everyone enjoyed it, even Aubrey.

It was Aden's first time on a horse. He really liked it and now wants one of his own. On our trail ride he really got a kick out of trotting, and even got to see a snake!
(Aden on Pedro)

Mommy got to go to while Daddy took a nap with the girls.

Heather wasn't too sure about her horse. She just went for a walk in the parking lot. The first day she road around but wouldn't get up on it the second day.

She did love to feed the horses though...she called them "boos".

The swimming was the best part. The water was about 102 degrees and the hot tub about 110. Aden learned to dive about 8 feet underwater and pick up keys off the pool floor. Heather loved swimming around in her floaties in the deep end of the pool, and Aubrey didn't know what the heck was going on when she got her feet dipped in.

All in all, it was fun and I can't wait for all of us to go on our next adventure!

Aubrey Nicole Zito

Yea! We have a new baby girl! Aubrey Nicole Zito arrived Saturday, April 10th at 9:17 p.m. weighing 7#10 oz and was 20 inches long! It was a short labour (5 hours) and not too bad, painful, but what labour isn't? She has been a sweet pea so far! Aden loves having a new baby in the house again and Heather is in heaven. Aubrey is her baby and she absolutely loves to hold her. So far, the only sibling jealousy has been Zeke, but there tends to some rivalry between Aden and Heather for our attention when the baby isn't being held.

I'm doing great. I feel better than I have in months, literally! I'm about 90% back to normal, and have lost 25 lbs so far (only 10 more to go!) ..its great not feeling like a swollen water balloon now! I can wear my wedding ring and the carpal tunnel has finally gone away!! Anyway, we are super excited for this new addition to our family!!

My three little ones: the red, the blonde, and the brunette (we'll see how long that lasts!)

Heather is super excited to be a big sister!

Nathan is such a sweetheart and I love him to death! He gave Aubrey and I bracelets with her birthstones in them....which I'm lucky enough to say is the diamond =) It fits a little better now with all the swelling going down.

My handsome man...looking good after losing his 40 pounds!

Here we are! The 5 of us...oh my

Ahoy Me Matey's: Aden's 5!!

It's hard for me to believe too, that I'm actually old enough to have a "5" year old. And it's also hard to believe that Aden is so grown up now! We decided to have a Pirate Party to celebrate his birthday, and it was so much fun! Aden had a blast and I think all the other kids did too. We bought pirate decor and hung streamers from the ceiling. Of course, we played dress up to help get a feel for the theme! For games we had: "Pin the Flag on the Map"...Seth was the winner, "Muscial Islands"...Lexi won that, and then the "3 legged Peg Leg Race"....which Aden and Seth won by a mile!! My co-worker Shellie made Aden a pirate ship cake that was so cute and fabulous. We also had to get a little wet so went to the Indoor Reef for some waterslides and fun! Overall, the day was great! Thanks to Merilee and Granny for making the treck to come too!

Aden's trying to make his "pirate" face.

Heather really has no idea what's going on at this point.

Bootleggers

They looks so tough don't they?

Cap'N Nate and the "wench".

Seth, Lexi, Brandon, Brenna, Ashlyn, and Aden

Believe it or not, the entire cake is edible!

Wind in the sails.

Aden spots land! and Heather's sea sick...

Heather loved her necklaces of gold and silver.

Ready, Set, GO!

I love this picture of Brandon, fighting for the finish!

Aden and Seth need to practice a little I think.
