It's hard for me to believe too, that I'm actually old enough to have a "5" year old. And it's also hard to believe that Aden is so grown up now! We decided to have a Pirate Party to celebrate his birthday, and it was so much fun! Aden had a blast and I think all the other kids did too. We bought pirate decor and hung streamers from the ceiling. Of course, we played dress up to help get a feel for the theme! For games we had: "Pin the Flag on the Map"...Seth was the winner, "Muscial Islands"...Lexi won that, and then the "3 legged Peg Leg Race"....which Aden and Seth won by a mile!! My co-worker Shellie made Aden a pirate ship cake that was so cute and fabulous. We also had to get a little wet so went to the Indoor Reef for some waterslides and fun! Overall, the day was great! Thanks to Merilee and Granny for making the treck to come too!

That was one of the best birthday parties I've been to. It had the perfect mix of food, games, and fun! And the swimming just topped it off. Thanks for a great time and Happy Birthday to Aden again! A 5-year-old! Yee Haw!
